FAQ
I want something printed, how does it work?
In order to print anything a 3d model of the object is required. These files can be found online on websites like printables or thingiverse. If you cannot find what you want printed online we can design it for you or you could design it yourself and send us the file.
Cost depends on the amount of material used to print the object and the time it takes to print it. The best way to find out the price is to send in a 3d file of what you want printed and what requirements the part has (must it be strong, cheap or is flexibility important etc) from this we can give you an exact quote.
I want to get a part designed, what design services do you offer?
We can design both functional parts and decorative parts. We use Fusion 360 for technical parts and blender for decorative parts. If you need something with both technical dimensions aswell as decorative aspects we have you covered aswell then we use Rhino 3D. With a wide range of design software's and experts in each we can design exactly what you require.
What materials should i choose?
For general models PLA is the best choice it prints easily, comes in a very wide range of colours, glow in the dark and even dual colours. It is not recommend for long term outdoor use or in places with relatively high temperatures. PETG is ideal for durable parts for outdoor use, it has much better temperature, chemical and UV resistance compared to PLA. ABS is perfect for higher temperature applications or when you want a smooth surface finish. ABS is the only material we can smooth leaving it with an amazing surface finish and hides all the layer lines. TPU is ideal for things like phone cases, its much more flexible than the other materials but is the hardest to print and comes with a higher cost.
